Presenters:
Brett Karhoff, CPA, MST, Shareholder
Brett has learned from my past 25 years of experience that successful companies work closely with a team of advisors. They want their advisors to listen to their concerns, understand their businesses, and provide timely and proactive ideas to help them be successful. As a tax advisor, his goal is to do all of these things while at the same time helping to navigate “safely” through the complex tax code that currently exists. Brett works with a variety of individuals and business owners in a broad range of industries, including professional services, manufacturing, real estate, entertainment and media, retail, and not-for-profit.
Jon Sytsma, CPA, MST, Shareholder
Jon’s primary focus as a shareholder at Hungerford Nichols is tax planning, compliance, and developing tax-efficient strategies for privately-held businesses and their shareholders. He has extensive experience in the taxation of and planning for various forms of business entities, such as corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies. He also has considerable experience in tax compliance and planning for a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, transportation, construction, real estate, and professional service industries that include: doctors, dentists, advertising/marketing, and software developers.
