Much of everyone’s focus the last few weeks has been centered on surviving the shut downs related to COVID-19 (and rightfully so). With the future starting to come into focus, it’s time to start discussing how operations are brought back online. Discussion will include a look at ramping up operations to the appropriate levels at the appropriate times, how to access the necessary capital and what considerations will need to be taken as we operate in the “new normal”.

David Nemes, Partner
David Nemes has more than 15 years of experience in consulting, financial analysis, entrepreneurship, accounting, and problem solving within a broad array of industries. He earned B.S. degrees in Accounting and Finance from Miami University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (non-practicing).
David assists clients with business turnaround, start-up, growth management, and sale advisory. He has a specialty in financial analysis/modeling, which helps facilitate decision-making and improve operational effectiveness. He also assists public sector clients with analyzing and assessing institutional risk.
David owns and operates multiple businesses, which allows him to understand the many day-to-day challenges facing our clients. As a business operator, he developed comprehensive operational structure and procedures, and has taken strategic business plans from conceptualization to implementation. David has worked with the FDIC for the past eight years. And, during the height of the financial crisis, he advised the FDIC on resolving failed financial institutions. More recently, he is helping to assess and manage the residual loss share liabilities resulting from the bank failures.
Heather Gardner, Senior Director
Heather Gardner has spent over 20 years in high performing organizations developing and leading teams in executive leadership positions. Heather helps business leaders optimize an organization’s performance and potential through strategic planning, leadership development and coaching, purpose-driven organizational structures and effective operating practices. She earned her B.A. in Materials Logistics Management from Michigan State University.
Heather has extensive operational experience in manufacturing, real estate and education and builds useful models to show business owners the costs of running their business and the impact certain decisions and operating practices will have on their business. Heather’s personal experience in running all aspects of a variety of businesses helps her to assist our clients in understanding the fundamental challenges their businesses face and provide them with tools to help them solve these challenges.
