R. Patrick Kruczek - Co-Manager, BBH Capital Partners Fund
Patrick is a seasoned board member and corporate executive. Patrick spent 20 years at Morgan Keegan & Company where he served in various roles in investment banking, equity capital markets, and as President and COO for the five years preceding the sale of the firm to Raymond James Financial.
Patrick serves on the board of directors of American Physician Partners, Utility Pipeline, Westrock Coffee Holdings, Sunstar Insurance Group, and Tower Ventures. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received an MBA from the University of Tennessee.
Benjamin Persofsky - Senior Vice President, Executive Director of the BBH Center for Family Business
Benjamin Persofsky is the Executive Director of the BBH Center for Family Business, which counsels some of the largest business-owning families in the world on issues of strategy, governance, succession planning, transition, capital policies, and next-generation owner development. Ben also oversees the Corporate Advisory & Banking team in Philadelphia, which provides strategic advice and helps deliver senior debt, private equity, and investment advisory solutions to premier middle-market businesses and their owners in the Mid-Atlantic region. He joined the firm in 2010.
Ben serves on the board executive committee of the Philadelphia School Partnership and is a board member of the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center. He is a graduate of Lafayette College and attended the University of Oxford as a visiting student concentrating on research in organizational behavior and developmental economics.
Karin Prangley - Senior Vice President, Senior Wealth Planner
Karin Prangley is the lead Wealth Planner in the Chicago Private Banking office. She has spent her entire career advising successful individuals and business owners on the preservation of wealth. Karin's particular expertise ranges from saving income and estate taxes on the sale of a business, to assisting clients with the achievement of their philanthropic goals, preparing the next generation to inherit liquid wealth or a going-concern family business, and coordinating the legal and tax structure of her clients? assets.
Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Karin was a Partner in private legal practice at the estate planning and administration group of Krasnow Saunders LLP and an Associate in the trusts and estates groups of Arnold & Porter LLP and Winston & Strawn LLP.
Karin is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, an elite trusts and estates organization where admission is based on professional reputation, expertise in tax law, and contribution to the legal field. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Mount St. Mary's University and received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and was published in the Virginia Tax Review.
