As family businesses grow, it’s important to organize family and family owner voices to help communicate vision, values, and expectations for business performance in a singular voice. This two-part workshop is an opportunity to start the conversation about family governance and to begin the process of developing a system that will help the family and the business succeed for generations to come. The program is designed for families of all sizes and stages, from those just beginning to explore family governance to those with years of experience.
Attendees will hear from family members and professional advisors who have successfully implemented family governance systems, as well as from experts who can provide advice and guidance on the process. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the benefits of family governance and a framework to develop a family governance system unique to their family’s needs. The deep dive will provide practical, actionable advice, and resources that will help begin the process of creating a comprehensive family governance system.
Limited to 24 participants and a maximum of 3 family members from each organization, this learning series includes a plethora of relevant materials and two interactive discussion sessions to share experiences and ideas on how to create a healthy family organization so the business can thrive.
