Are you ready for the impact on your family business?\n\nJoin FBA as we discuss how this legislation changes things for employers and organizations.\n\nNow that the law has passed learn answers to these questions and more:\n\n\n	Can you deny work comp benefits if a work injury is a result of marijuana use?\n	If we quit drug testing will our OSHA recordable rate go up?\n	If we quit drug testing will our workforce change?\n	What should our response be to the new law? Practical vs. Legal\n	Do supervisors need additional reasonable suspicion training.\n	What can we learn from States like Colorado\n\n\n\nSpeakers:\n\nIan Northon\, Rhoades McKee\n\nIan Northon concentrates on defending entrepreneurs and their companies in high-stakes employment matters\, including terminations in the c-suite\, trade secret injunctions\, and non-compete cases. He helps his clients win the race to the courthouse and navigate business disputes to improve the bottom line. \n\n \n\nIan has more than a dozen civil trial wins\, conducted numerous internal investigations for employers\, and obtained excellent results in management side labor relations\, including defending pension and health care plans and protecting companies from harassment and discrimination claims.\n\n \n\nIan earned his undergraduate degree from Hillsdale College and his Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law.\n\nRandy Boss\, Ottawa Kent\n\n\n\nRandy is a Partner and Certified Risk Architect at Ottawa Kent. As a Certified Risk Architect\, Randy utilizes over 40 years experience in designing\, building and implementing risk management and insurance plans for middle market companies in the areas of human resources\, property\, liability\, workers' comp and benefits. He has been at Ottawa Kent for 36 years\, earning in that time the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor\, Licensed Insurance Counselor\, Senior Professional in Human Resources\, Certified Work Comp Advisor\, Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist\, Certified Benefits & Wellness Advisor\, Certified Risk Architect and Certified Risk Manager. Along with managing his own accounts\, Randy oversees sales management and training for 10 Risk Advisors at Ottawa Kent.\n\nRandy and his wife\, Debi\, have three children and seven grandchildren\, which inspired him to write a children's book. He enjoys travel\, running and riding his Harley   with a helmet of course.
